Case study - Energy efficiency - Lomsko Pivo JSC

Lomsko Pivo JSC is a brewery located in Lom in Northern Bulgaria. The BEERECL loan was used to reconstruct the bottling workshop, heating and lighting system upgrades, installation of an energy monitoring and control system, steam condensate system and boiler efficiency improvements. By implementing the project and replacing the old inefficient equipment with modern energy efficient technologies, the brewery not only reduced its annual energy costs and carbon emissions, but also improved workplace safety.
