Application procedure details - step 1

1. Initial Eligibility Check

To find out if your project meets with the BEERECL eligibility criteria you may contact us:

• informally through a phone call or visit to our office; or
• formally through submitting an official application. You can find the application form, along with a list of all documents required to determine project eligibility here

2. Formal Eligibility Check

When you are ready to proceed with a formal eligibility check, you send a completed application form in Bulgarian or English to the attention of Borislava Boycheva to our address. The form must be signed by a person with signatory authority for the company and should be accompanied by all required documents outlined in the application form, as well as electronic copies of the documents, either on CD/diskette or sent by e-mail.
We will notify you of the project eligibility decision in writing within 10 working days after receiving the application form and all required supporting documentation.

An eligibility decision can only be made when we have all of the required information.
If an eligibility question needs to be discussed with the EBRD, you will be informed about this by us within 10 working days. You will receive a final eligibility determination within 3 working days of a response from EBRD.
If you disagree with a negative eligibility determination, you will have the right to appeal this decision within 30 days, according to the appeals process.

3. Waiver Letter

As soon as you are informed of your project eligibility, you should download the Waiver Letter from this website (or request that we send you a hard copy ) and submit two original, signed copies to us.

4. Term Sheet

Upon submission of the Waiver Letter, you select a bank and negotiate with it a term sheet  indicating deal parameters, such as loan amount, interest, term and grace period.
